Fees

the Argyle Free Library is FINE FREE. Our goal is to remove barriers to reading so that everyone in our community can enjoy what the library has to offer.

There are no fines charged for overdue materials.

Materials more than 30 days overdue are considered lost and patrons will be charged a replacement fee. If the item is returned, there will be no fine or fee for the lost book.

Materials that are damaged to a point where the library determines them unusable will be charged a replacement fee.

Please always speak to a librarian if you have questions. We are always willing to help, and will never shame you for a late, lost or damaged item!

Printing and Faxing Fees

• Send a fax: $1.00 for up to 10 pages, $2.00 for any additional pages
• Black and white print or copy: $0.25 per side
• Color print or copy: $1.00 per side
