June Events at The Library!
Special Event:
Make a Colonial Hat! – Tuesday, June 16th 3:00-4:30
Volunteers from the Tri-county Women’s Farm and Garden Club will be visiting the library and showing our participants how to make a period bonnet or tricorn hat using tissue paper and other materials. Make a hat for yourself, and one to be used in a special display at the 250th National Celebration
Weekly Events
Kids
- Story Time – Almost Every Tuesday – 2nd, 9th, 30th – 10:00-11:00 – Story time with Ms. Jess! Join us for crafts, books, & play time.
0-4 years - Craft-er School Club – 1st Wednesday – 3rd – 2:30-3:30 – Join us for new arts & crafts projects every week. 4 years and up.
- Puzzles and Snacks – 3rd Wednesday – 17th – 2:30-3:30 – Brain building fun! From low tech to high tech, join us for after school puzzle time! Ages 8-18
- Pre-K Meet Up – Almost Every Wednesday – 3rd, 10th, 17th – Hang out at the library while you wait for the big kids to be dismissed from school. Pre-K
Teens
- Teen Meet Up – Every Tuesday and Thursday – 2:30-4:00 – Come join us after school for puzzles, board games and time with friends! Quiet time is enforced after 3:30. Ages 12 and up.
Adults
- Scrabble – Monday – 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th – 2:00-3:00 – Join your neighbors for a friendly but challenging game of scrabble. Adults only.
- Tech Open House – Wednesday – 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th – 10:00-11:00 – An informal Q&A based technology class or individual tech help.
- Great Books Book Club – Third Thursday – 6:00 – 7:00 – Drop in to join a vibrant discussion of books new and old.
